Cleanwater Ferro Cement water storage tanks are reinforced with several strands of steel wire meshing ensuring strength, flexibility and durability. Ferrocement is a super reinforced concrete. It differs from conventional concrete in that there is a higher ratio of steel to cement mortar, producing a material which exhibits properties superior to either steel or cement separately.
Ferrocement has many of the properties of steel and yet it will not rust. Although it looks and feels like concrete it can flex without cracking. Ferrocement constructions do not suffer from the cancer sometimes found in poured concrete structures. The reinforced walls are sprayed with concrete using high pressure spraying systems.
Conical roofing also made from reinforced concrete is added, ensuring the inside of the tank is completely enclosed, ensuring no algal growth. Water quality remains crystal clear.
Water temperature
remains consistently cold even during the hottest of summer months.

Tanks are then spray painted on the outside.
The calcium content of the cement tank interior neutralizes the acidic rain caught. Water from a ferrocement tank will normally have a neutral pH of 7-8 compared to an acid pH of 3.5 -4 found in other tanks. Acidic water can prematurely corrode surfaces.

Cleanwater Ferro Cement concrete water storage tanks are built on site, ensuring durability, strength and flexibility .
